Ward 7 Councillor John Brassard, pictured with student Mayors, represented the City of Barrie on November 20, 2009 for the launch of celebrating the Children and Youth charter that the City of Barrie became part of at the Simcoe County Council Chambers.


Ward 7 Councillor John Brassard spoke with two grade five classes at W.C. Little School on October 26, 2009 about how the Municipal Government works and answered many questions that the students had.



Ward 7 Councillor John Brassard attended the Historic Neighbourhood Strategies B-B-Q on September 19, 2009 in support of the initiative which calls for community involvement in planning initiatives for their neighbourhoods.


Ward 7 Councillor John Brassard attended the Holly Community Centre on August 20, 2009 as the Barrie Police Services set up shop for 3 days to interact with Ward 7 residents about the issues affecting them and stepped up traffic enforcement for those 3 days.
