The new Holly Community Centre opened to rave reviews on January 3, 2008. 

Ward 7 Councillor John Brassard was on hand with senior staff to meet the thousands of people who came to see the new City facility located in Ward 7.   At 155,000 square feet, Holly CC features 2 ice surfaces, a family friendly leisure pool complete with slide and splash pad, a gymnasium, fitness facility and Youth Centre.

The reaction was tremendous and the new Holly Community Centre is a welcomed addition to not only Ward 7 but also the City of Barrie.  More information about the programs available at Holly CC can be found by visiting the City of Barrie website at www.barrie.ca.
