The City of Barrie, Government of Canada, Province of Ontario and GO Transit have been working together to oversee infrastructure improvements to GO Transit’s Bradford rail corridor that will bring GO Transit rail service to the City of Barrie. We are pleased to confirm that service will commence Monday, December 17, 2007. The GO Transit station is situated at the Northeast of the intersection of Mapleview Drive and Yonge Street, in the southeast portion of the City. The station will have about approximately 450 parking spaces, as well as a bus loop.

GO Train Schedule:

There will be 4 trains that leave from Barrie South Station to Union Station every morning during the work week:

Departing at: 5:43 am, 6:15 am, 6:45 am, 7:15 am

Arriving Union Station: 7:15 am, 7:45 am, 8:15am, 8:45 am

There will be 4 trains that leave from Union Station to Barrie South Station every afternoon during the work week:

Departing: 4:10pm, 4:40 pm, 5:17 pm, 6:00 pm

Arriving at Barrie South Station: 5:45pm, 6:15 pm, 6:52 pm, 7:35 pm
