UPDATE NOVEMBER 6, 2007---- THE BOLLARDS WILL BE INSTALLED NEXT WEEK

City Staff will be installing Bollards at the entrance to the Simcoe County Forest on Lougheed and on Columbia Rd to prevent ATV's and Dirtbikes from accessing this area from the City side.

This should help in reducing some traffic in that area.

It is against City By-Law to drive motorized vehicles such as ATV's, Dirt Bikes and Snowmobiles within City limits and Barrie Police have been visiting residents in Ward 7 who are doing so if they are reported to advise them of the by-law and to warn them against driving within the City.
