At Council on Monday night, General Committee approved a stop sign reversal at Brucker and Emms.

There will be a 60 day transition period that will see a 4-way stop at the Intersection but after that, the stop sign will be located on Brucker rather than Emms.  Signage in the area will increase to advise people living there as well as drivers about what is happening.  Lines will also be painted on Brucker that will include a stop bar for cars and pedestrian crossing lines.

General Committee also approved a further speed study on Emms to see whether the reversal impacts the speed on Emms and furthermore, whether a 4 way stop will be needed in the future.
